Each season Girls on the Run has a dynamic group of coaches that volunteer their time to guide and mentor girls so that they are prepared to become happy, healthy, self-confident adolescents and adults. Coaches need not be runners; they just need to be individuals that want to be a positive influence and who are committed to developing and celebrating our youth.

  • Email Alicia Henderson with availability and site preference.
  • Register here as a new or returning coach (registration opens at 10 AM January 10th)
  • Undergo an online background check. Instructions will be given after we receive your application.
  • Attend Coach Training!

We will get in touch with you about our current coaching needs. To see the locations of the group meetings, look at the list on the program sites page. Please note that all practices take place during the work day, typically in the 3:00 to 4:30 timeframe (right after school).
